Last updated: 9 August 2026

This policy covers this website and how we handle personal data when you contact Ethicaa Ltd. Our apps are covered by their own policies — for BeFree, see befreeapp.net/privacy.

The short version. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and includes no tracking or advertising technology of any kind. We know nothing about you unless you email us.

Who we are

Ethicaa Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17331429), registered office Flat 11 Holt House, 54 Ullet Road, Liverpool, L17 3AT, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at info@ethicaa.co.uk.

Visiting this website

We don't set cookies or use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or fingerprinting. There is nothing on this site that follows you.

Our website is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify's servers process technical information — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We rely on our legitimate interests in providing a secure, working website. We don't use these logs to build any profile of you, and we don't combine them with anything else.

This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Google may process your IP address as part of delivering the font.

If you email us

When you email info@ethicaa.co.uk we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include. We use this only to read and reply, relying on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us (or, where you're asking about a product or service, on taking steps at your request before entering a contract).

We keep correspondence for as long as it's useful for the matter you raised and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months unless we need it for legal or accounting reasons. We never add you to a marketing list without you asking.

What we never do

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, receive a copy in a portable format, and object to or restrict our processing of it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Email info@ethicaa.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk — though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly slipped in.
